Personal Data Processing Policy
Version of 25 August 2026.
1. General provisions
This Personal Data Processing Policy (the “Policy”) is drawn up in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” of the Russian Federation and sets out how personal data is processed and protected by Individual Entrepreneur Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Zueva (TIN 320204384518, PSRNIE 326320000018676), owner of the website blagovest.net — the Blagovest online music school (the “Operator”).
The Operator regards respect for human rights and freedoms in the processing of personal data — including the right to privacy and to personal and family confidentiality — as a fundamental condition of its work.
This Policy applies to all information the Operator may obtain about visitors to blagovest.net.
2. Key terms
- Personal data — any information relating directly or indirectly to an identified or identifiable natural person (the data subject).
- Processing of personal data — any operation performed on personal data, including collection, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, amendment, retrieval, use, transfer, anonymisation, blocking, deletion and destruction.
- User — any visitor to blagovest.net.
- Operator — Individual Entrepreneur Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Zueva, who organises and carries out the processing of personal data.
3. What personal data is processed
The Operator processes the following data, which the User provides voluntarily when filling in forms on the website:
- first and last name;
- contact telephone number;
- email address;
- preferred means of contact and messenger handle (Telegram, WhatsApp, VKontakte and others), where the User has supplied one;
- the chosen instrument, teacher and lesson time;
- time zone and city — so that lesson times are shown correctly.
The website also collects anonymised technical data through web analytics services: IP address, cookie information, browser and operating system details, access times and pages visited.
The Operator does not process special categories of personal data (race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious beliefs, health or sex life) or biometric personal data.
4. Purposes of processing
- handling requests for a trial lesson and call-back requests;
- booking lessons, creating and confirming reservations, and sending lesson reminders;
- accepting and confirming payment, issuing refunds and fiscal receipts;
- contacting the User about tuition, scheduling and administrative matters;
- providing access to the student and teacher personal accounts;
- informing the User about the school’s services and special offers, where the User has consented;
- improving the website and the quality of the services provided.
5. Legal grounds for processing
The Operator processes personal data only when the User submits it through the forms on the website. By submitting a form, the User consents to this Policy.
Personal data is also processed on the basis of performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party — when lessons are booked and paid for.
The Operator processes anonymised data about the User where the User’s browser settings permit it (cookies enabled and JavaScript allowed).
6. Transfer of personal data to third parties
To fulfil the purposes above, the Operator engages the following service providers, to whom the necessary minimum of data may be transferred:
- Payment providers — to accept payment and issue fiscal receipts. Bank card details are entered by the User directly on the payment provider’s side and are neither transferred to nor stored by the Operator.
- Email and notification services — to send booking confirmations, reminders and service messages.
- Telegram messenger — to send booking notifications, where the User has chosen this means of contact.
- Customer relationship management (CRM) system — so that the school’s staff can handle the request.
- Google Calendar — to build the lesson schedule and generate video meeting links.
The Operator does not sell personal data and does not transfer it to third parties for purposes other than those set out in this Policy, except as required by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
7. Retention periods and storage
Personal data is kept no longer than the purposes of processing require. Data of Users who have not entered into a tuition agreement is kept for no more than one year from the date of last contact. Student data is kept for the duration of tuition and for three years afterwards.
Personal data is stored and processed in databases held on servers and within the systems of the service providers engaged by the Operator.
8. Security measures
The Operator takes the legal, organisational and technical measures necessary to protect personal data against unlawful or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution and other unlawful acts: transmission over HTTPS, encryption of payment and integration keys, role-based staff access, and regular backups.
9. Your rights
The User has the right to:
- obtain information about the processing of their personal data;
- request that their personal data be corrected, blocked or destroyed if it is incomplete, out of date, inaccurate, unlawfully obtained or no longer necessary for the stated purpose;
- withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time;
- appeal against the Operator’s acts or omissions to the authorised data protection body or in court.
To exercise these rights, please write to info@blagovest.net. The Operator will respond within 30 days of receiving the request.
10. Cookies
The website uses cookies so that booking forms work correctly, the chosen language is remembered and anonymised traffic statistics can be collected. The User may disable cookies in their browser at any time, although some features of the website may then not work properly.
11. Final provisions
The Operator may amend this Policy without the User’s consent. A new version takes effect once published on the website unless the new version provides otherwise.
The current version is always available at blagovest.net/en/privacy-policy.
For any questions about the processing of personal data, please write to info@blagovest.net.
